Integrated GIS for the management of a vehicle fleet and for the assistance of movement and orientation in metropolitan environments using GIS-GPS-GSM technologies

ABSTRACT. – This article presents a proprietary format GIS and two software applications in which this tachnology has been used. The main GIS elements are presented along with the vectorization method for geographical maps. Also, the main functions of the applications developed with this GIS are presented. The applications are: "The management of a vehicle fleet using GIS-GPS-GSM technology" and respectively "Movement in metropolitan environment"
